Smart Diary Suite 4.5

Smart Diary Suite is more than a simple Diary or a Personal Information Manager (PIM). You can plot your exercise program against your diary of health notes and see how they interact. Add information about changes in your diet and see how these changes have affected your health and activity levels. In addition to using informative graphs to show you how your choices affect your life, SDS has all of the functions that you would expect in a PIM.

Enhance the medication section by adding features for: 1) tracking increases and decreases of dosages and 2) tracking side effects for each medication.

The medication section is inadequate because many medications require you to gradually increase and decrease the dose. This must be done on a schedule provided by your doctor; and you must monitor side effects of the drug during this time. The...

Portable edition. Diaries should be carried with one, like on microSD cards that is in phones, phones we carry with us 24/7, right now I don't get to try this at all since my laptop is at service.

As said make it portable so one can really benefit from a computer based diary.

Hello. There is a portable version available that is a single file that can be run directly from a usb/flash drive, so all you'd need is to have that one executable and your diary file (in the same folder, for example). Did you mean that or something else?

Use existing Windows Contacts / Address Book! Keeping a separate address book doesn't make sense for most users.

Add Diabetes mgmt features/tracking, optionally with interface to transfer data from meters.

Managing Diabetes is all about tracking blood sugar levels, what you ate, & activities (like exercise), tying all 3 together in a way to see trends, what makes your individual sugar too high, too low etc [everyone's different]. Meter companies...

Hello. Actually there are some Life Factors to track diabetes already - check out this page: http://forum.psunrise.com/showthread.php/269-Diabetes-Life-Factor

Of course if some are missing, we can always add more.

SDS is very flexible in what it can track and adding new things is very easy, so if you don't find what you need to track, let us know and we'll make a Life Factor for you.

Perhaps you could introduce an exercise section in addition to the nutrition diary and perhaps add a template with ideas of various types of exercises. The other thing that would be helpful is if the speed of loading up this program could be improved

The medication listing needs to be improved in several ways. When printing the medication list it should show the family members name at the top, so there is no mix-up when presenting several family members lists to a Health professional. The medicat

Add a dialog and graph for recording and viewing blood glucose levels.

I am hypoglycemic and was just about to write my own program for tracking these levels along with dietary information and symptoms. I got excited when I saw you were offering this on GOTD, thinking I would not need to write my own application....

Add other languages

A lot of people speek english, yes, but it's easier with own languages. Or the possibility to make public translations (people from the web translate it) to download (free) from the webside and add to the program.

add an e-Mail client module into this program. You're already beating Outlook in many other areas.

This is pretty impressive. The reality is that your program is easier on the eyes than Outook and seems to function better. With the proper relationships and validation rules between modules, the only other item missing is an e-Mail module. If you...

Add a backup to GoogleDocs account

It is better to keep the backup file on a server rather then on a hard drive. Moreover it isn't big.
